VSAA juniors consider college costs on film

Shumway — High school students pay attention to serious issues. Gabrielle Gasche and Anna James, both juniors at the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics, proved it by placing in a documentary filmmaking competition sponsored by C-SPAN StudentCam. Their study of the cost of higher education, and their peers' attitudes toward it, is called "College Tuition." You can see it at http://www.studentcam.org/past_winners.htm.

"College Tuition" was among 48 Honorable Mention winners and 146 winners in total — out of nearly 1,900 entrants total. The prompt for this year's competition was the question: "What's the most important issue the president should consider in 2013?"
