NEW YORK (AP) — Thisizsparta rallied to beat Belle Gallantey by 212 lengths for a 14-1 upset Wednesday in the $67,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
The longest price in the six-horse field, Thisizsparta won for the second time in nine starts for trainer Jimmy Jerkens. Rajiv Maragh was aboard as the 4-year-old ran the mile in 1:39.09.
Thisizsparta paid $31.60, $9.20 and $6.40. Belle Gallantey returned $3.60 and $3.10, and Hey Babe paid $5.30 to show.
