Happy Veterans Day to all our honored veterans. A day of appreciation and thanksgiving to those who sacrificed time out of their lives or lost their life in support of our freedom. The weather will pay a good tribute as well, with some dry, windy and sunny weather.
This coming week looks rather uneventful with temperatures running about seasonable and precipitation on the below-normal range. Just some scattered showers or light rain, with a couple of dry days.
Last week, we were thinking we might expect some storminess and colder weather, but the cold air dropping down from the Gulf of Alaska is staying well offshore and pushing a ridge of higher pressure over us.
Not much snow will be added to the ski areas this week.
This will cause easterly winds to howl through the Gorge tomorrow. It should be a breezy day locally but dry.
