Two motorcyclists were in PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center on Sunday night with injuries sustained in a late Saturday collision on Padden Parkway.

Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Fred Neiman said Brooks C. Tooson, 42, of Portland was riding a 2005 BWM about 11:30 p.m. when he collided with a 2005 Kawasaki ridden by Izaak J. Henthorn, 33, of Vancouver in the 8400 block of Padden Parkway. That is near the offramp from Interstate 205 to eastbound Padden Parkway.

Deputies arrived to find Tooson on the ground and Henthorn gone. At 12:36 a.m., deputies found Henthorn about 40 yards south of the scene, off the road, Neiman said.

Neiman said investigators were trying to determine what caused the collision. They were not able to get much information from the men at the scene, he said.

Both men were in satisfactory condition on Sunday night.

Neiman said alcohol is suspected as a factor in the accident.
