Letter: Market should be open to socializing

The Columbian
Published: November 22, 2013, 4:00pm

Dog owners who do take their companions with them to the Vancouver Farmers Market know they are well-trained, well-behaved, and always under control. The dogs allow complete strangers to pet them, giving humans a time to socialize and swap stories with people to whom they normally perhaps would never speak. It makes the whole weekend market a unique shopping experience.

Now if you really need to get on your bandwagon, ban strollers and belligerent children, screaming parents, and people who apparently don’t like dogs.
