New-look Hoosiers after better results in 2013-14

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — The names and faces at Indiana have changed. The goals have not.

Point guard Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell expects to win more Big Ten crowns, hang more banners inside Assembly Hall and lead the Hoosiers back to the Final Four — even if nobody else believes it’s possible this season.

Clearly, this won’t be the same team Hoosiers fans embraced over the last two seasons. Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller have left for the NBA. Jordan Hulls, Christian Watford and Derek Elston graduated. Remy Abell and Maurice Creek transferred.

And the Hoosiers are starting over with eight freshman and a transfer.

What Indiana does have is potential — lots of it.
