Police are searching for a burglary suspect in the area of East 18th Street and Norris Road in Vancouver’s Maplewood neighborhood.
The burglary was reported nearby in the 3000 block of East McLoughlin Boulevard at 11:59 a.m. Someone saw a person run out of the house with a backpack, said Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department. After that, neighbors called 911 to report that a man was running through their backyards.
Multiple officers have canvassed the area and a K-9 unit is attempting to track the suspect.
