What steps are you taking to building your business: Hatler and her partner, Janette Munizich, changed the name from The Scrub Shop to Dresscode and expanded their hours. They also expanded their clothing line and now offer chef and spa apparel and EMT tactical pants.
Greatest challenge: Hatler said she is trying to teach people to take pride in their uniforms. They can get serviceable uniforms in several places but she wants them to know that they can buy more fashionable uniforms and make them more personal.
What's ahead for your business: Hatler wants Dresscode to be a one-stop shop. People in the medical profession can get everything they need, from stethoscopes to compression stockings to good lotions to sooth hands and skinned knuckles.
Owners' business history: Munizich was a medical assistant and Hatler attended nursing school. They developed an interest in the uniform fashion industry and decided to start a business together.
