Parks Foundation gets new leaders

Esther Short — The Parks Foundation of Clark County elected three new members to its board of directors this month. Joining the nonprofit’s board are: lawyer Darrin Class, Shorty’s Garden and Home General Manager Colin Mahoney and Riverview Community Bank Senior Vice President of Marketing Scott Miller. At its Sept. 17 meeting, the foundation also elected its 2013-15 Executive Committee: Immediate Past President Matt Bisturis, President Megan Strand, Vice Presidents Carol Bua and Renee Wilson, Secretary Marianne Barrus and Treasurer Dan Clark.
