Girls basketball: Columbia River 50, Camas 40

The Chieftains defense shut down Camas in the fourth quarter, holding the Papermakers to three points.

Teaghan Cowles scored 10 points in a balanced scoring effort for Columbia River in the season opener. Marion Lilly had nine points, nine rebounds and three steals.
