Letter: Those on the inside protect system

The new political football, the CIA torture report, brings to the forefront the need for more political parties.

Both Presidents George Bush and Barack Obama and their respective parties have failed the American people when it comes to transparency.

Where was the outrage and bipartisan support for an investigation into then-Vice President Dick Cheney’s failed Iraq War? And President Obama failed by not investigating the then known CIA techniques of interrogation.

The Benghazi investigation continues wasting time and money with no new results, why? Could it be our two-party system supporting itself? The result, as usual, will be nothing. People at the lower end of the pyramid will be found guilty.

Media reports on our elected officials becoming worth beaucoup dollars by getting elected to Congress have increased. Yes, it’s time for some new parties.
