Girls basketball: Woodland 47, White Salmon 31

The Beavers trailed early but built a solid lead in the second half against the visiting Bruins (10-8, 8-8).

Sidra Malik led Woodland (18-0, 16-0) with 15 points, six assists and three steals. Jessica Flanagan had 10 points, six steals and four rebounds.

The Beavers made eight 3-point field goals and only six from inside the arc.

Maddie Sorenson had nine rebounds and three steals and Kendall Grell contributed five steals, four assists and six rebounds.
