The Lumberjacks blocked a potential game-winning shot at the end of the fourth quarter to hold off the visiting Hawks.

Hockinson built an eight-point lead in the third quarter, when the Hawks got on a run for the only time in the game and outscored R.A. Long 21-14 to take a five-point lead into the fourth quarter.

Jack Klodt scored a game-high 19 points for Hockinson, and Taylor Rennaker added 13. But the Hawks made 20 turnovers and didn’t force as many turnovers from the Lumberjacks as they do against most opponents, according to Hockinson coach Trevor Person.
