Boys basketball: Union 49, Camas 40

Riley Hawken had 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Titans beat the visiting Papermakers.

Union jumped to a 13-2 lead in the first quarter, feeding off some early turnovers.

Camas got within three points late in the game, but Hawken converted a layup off a Cameron Cranston pass for Union. The Titans’ Isaiah Robinson then blocked a Papermaker shot, and Derrick Derryberry made two free throws for Union.

Robinson blocked four shots during the fourth quarter. Skillful Davis added 13 points and Micah Paulson scored 10 for the Titans.

For Camas, Jordan Anderson led the way with 15 points.
