WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Wes Cole made 10 3-pointers and finished with a career-high 30 points as Hartford beat Massachusetts Lowell 69-51 on Monday.

The junior became the first Hartford player to score 30-plus since 2011 and he broke Joe Zeglinski’s school record of nine 3-pointers in a game set in 2008.

Corban Wroe and Yolonzo Moore II added 11 apiece for Hartford (9-11, 3-2 America East). The Hawks attempted 40 shots from long range, making 14 of them.

Akeem Williams led UMass-Lowell (4-13, 3-3) with 21 points, on 8-of-18 shooting, including 4 of 7 from beyond the arc. The River Hawks made just 36.7 percent of their shots.

Hartford has now won four of its last five games, including a victory over New Hampshire last Saturday. Cole was 5 of 9 from 3-point range in that contest and finished with a season-high 17 points.
