A Vancouver man is accused of possessing more than 200 images of child pornography and dealing eight of those images.

Registered sex offender Randy R. Jackson, 33, appeared Wednesday in Clark County Superior Court on suspicion of 10 counts of child pornography possession and eight counts of dealing child pornography.

Judge David Gregerson held him in lieu of $150,000 bail and appointed Vancouver attorney Heather Carroll to defend him. He’s scheduled to be arraigned on the charges June 18.

Vancouver police investigators served a search warrant Dec. 17 on Jackson’s residence in Vancouver’s Truman neighborhood.

A forensic analysis of Jackson’s computers and other electronic devices yielded more than 200 images of child pornography, according to a court affidavit. About eight of those images were offered for sharing from two of Jackson’s IP addresses, the court affidavit says.

Jackson, who is transient, was arrested Tuesday at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registration Unit.

He was convicted in 1998 of indecent liberties with a minor in North Carolina, according to court records.
