A woman escaped injury after crashing a vehicle into a power pole and splitting the pole in two, according to Clark County Fire & Rescue.

The single-vehicle crash was reported at about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday near Northeast 92nd Avenue and 179th Street, northeast of Brush Prairie, after the woman’s black pickup truck left the roadway, the agency’s spokesman Tim Dawdy said.

The crash split the pole, leaving the power lines unsupported, Dawdy said. No one was injured.

Crews with Clark Public Utilities responded to fix the problem. Power was rerouted to customers, so there weren’t any outages resulting from the crash, Clark Public Utilities spokeswoman Erica Erland said.
