Cascade Highlands — The Cascade Highlands Neighborhood Association plans to buy fitness equipment for Homestead Park thanks to a $10,000 grant it received from the Parks Foundation of Clark County.
The association recently prioritized what it would like to see added to the park, with a step-up bench, body curl bench and sit-up bench topping the list, according to the latest neighborhood newsletter.
The $10,000 grant should be enough to buy at least two pieces and pay for installation likely this fall. The association plans to apply for another grant so it can pick up more equipment next year.
