There is still no sign of an 84-year-old Vancouver man who went missing from his hotel last week.

Relatives of Victor Elford reported him as a missing and endangered person at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. His car was still reportedly in the parking lot of the hotel, located in the 9100 block of Northeast Vancouver Mall Drive, according to Vancouver police.

It appears he left on foot and might be in possession of a firearm, police said.

As of Monday, there had been no reported sightings of Elford, but police continued to work with his family.

Elford is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Elford’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
