Letter: Fireworks ban needed

The Columbian

The decision regarding different rules for north and south Clark County fireworks is a step in the right direction, but not adequate for a metropolitan city.

Fireworks need to be banned. Besides the fire danger and the noise that affects countless pets, the litter is amazing. I am still picking up bits of firework debris in the middle of September. It doesn’t help that our city street sweepers don’t come very often.
