Prep roundup: Ries hat trick leads Ridgefield soccer to win

Taryn Ries scored three goals and assisted on a fourth as Ridgefield beat Washougal 4-1 in a girls soccer match at Ridgefield.

Jordyn Voyles scored the other goal for the Spudders and had an assist.

Alex Sanders, Union girls soccer, assisted on Union’s first three goals as the Titans built a 4-0 halftime lead to hand Battle Ground its first loss of the season.

Kate Swett, Woodland volleyball, had 16 kills, 7 blocks, 3 digs, and 7 aces in a win over R.A. Long.

Kari Staples, King’s Way Christian volleyball, had 24 kills, 2 blocks, and 8 aces in a four-set win over Fort Vancouver.

Kristianna Troyer, Woodland soccer, scored two goals and assisted on two more in a win over R.A. Long.

Dalaney Tuholski, Heritage volleyball, Had 18 kills, 12 assists, 9 service points and 15 digs in the Timberwolves’ five-set win over Union.

Rebecca Muresan, Heritage volleyball, had 15 kills, 6 service points and 10 digs against Union.

Trinity Paulsen, Hockinson soccer, scored five goals to help the Hawks defeat Mark Morris 8-0 on Tuesday.

Brooke Van Sickle, Battle Ground volleyball, scored 14 kills, one block, seven assists, five aces, two digs in Battle Ground’s 3-0 sweep of Evergreen.

Natalie Pederson, Seton Catholic volleyball, was a perfect 27-27 on serves in Seton’s 3-0 sweep of Stevenson.

Tina Elliott, Camas volleyball, scored 30 assists in the Papermakers 3-1 win over Skyview.

Alyssa Pudlitzke, Camas girls cross country, won a league dual against Heritage at Round Lake by almost two minutes, finishing in 20:35.

Kaden Harbertson, Skyview boys cross country, led a 1-2-3 sweep by the Storm in a win over Union by finishing in 16:25.
