Health Worker Report

The Columbian
Published: July 31, 2015, 5:00pm

In September, the secretary of health indefinitely suspended the credential of massage practitioner Stacy Lemuel Andrew Bryant. While he was a patient in the behavioral unit at a PeaceHealth hospital, Bryant became agitated, and attacked staff and police officers who tried to control him. He was convicted in Clark County Superior Court on one count of third-degree assault and one count of third-degree malicious mischief.

In September, the Examining Board of Psychology indefinitely suspended the credential of psychologist Cynthia Ann Savoie. She had provided individual and group counseling to a family; however, she had taken sides and given biased advice. During one incident as part of a custody hearing, Savoie had provided the court with a slanted parenting evaluation report that contains inflammatory language.
