A Vancouver man accused of brandishing a revolver and threatening to shoot a man made a first appearance in Clark County Superior Court on Tuesday, according to court records.

Larry J. Arthur, 47, appeared to face allegations of second-degree assault and felony harassment following an argument Monday evening.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Jason Jennerjohn told police that Arthur drove past his house in the 3000 block of Northeast 135th Avenue at high speed. Jennerjohn said he saw Arthur park down the street, so he walked to the car to take down the license plate number.

Arthur confronted Jennerjohn and allegedly told him, “Come down here so I can shoot you,” court records said. Arthur then pulled out a revolver and spun the chamber. Jennerjohn said he didn’t come any closer and instead yelled out the license plate number to his mother, the affidavit said.

Arthur then fired three shots into the air and said, “The next two are going to be in your head,” according to court records.

Jennerjohn said he and two other witnesses ran inside and called 911.

On Tuesday, Judge Gregory Gonzales set Arthur’s bail at $100,000. He will retain his own attorney, court records show. Arthur will be arraigned Dec. 22.
