Missing Vancouver teen found, home safe

Update: The Vancouver Police Department said Tuesday night Kaitlyn Campbell has been found and is home.
Vancouver Police Sgt. Aaron Gibson said she’s “safe and sound.”

Original post: The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a 16-year-old girl with a “diminished mental capacity” who was last seen Sunday night.
Police believe Kaitlyn Campbell ran away from her home near East Mill Plain Boulevard and Northeast 92nd Avenue sometime Sunday night or early this morning.
Kaitlyn was described as 5-foot-5-inches tall and about 110 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She usually wears glasses and could be carrying a backpack with a flower pattern on it.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 and ask to speak with an on-duty supervisor at the Vancouver Police Department.
