SEATTLE (AP) — The King County sheriff’s office says a 35-year-old Seattle man used Facebook to lure a 12-year-old from her school in Renton.

The sheriff’s office says the man messaged the girl, who came out of Meeker Middle School on Jan. 30 and got into his van. Her mother reported her missing. She was found about five hours later at a friend’s house in Bremerton. She was treated at a hospital for possible sexual assault.

Detectives posed as a 14-year-old girl on Facebook Tuesday to lure the man to a Renton library, where he was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and sex abuse.
