ALBANY, Ore. — Oregon State Police say two people were killed and a 7-year-old boy was seriously injured in a collision Thursday night on Highway 34 in Linn County.

Troopers say one driver died at the scene and the other at a Good Samaritan Medical Center in Corvallis.

The boy has been taken to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland.

Troopers say speed is being considered as a potential factor in the head-on collision.
