Free senior resource fair set for Aug. 5

U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, will host a free senior resource fair with the hopes of connecting senior citizens with education and volunteer opportunities and financial planning assistance.

The resource fair will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 5 at the Armed Forces Reserve Center, 15005 N.E. 65th St., Vancouver. The fair will be open to the public and is free. Experts will be available to chat with seniors on a range of topics including Social Security, Medicare and to how to start a business.
