Jesse Saastamo’s goal from an assist by Francisco Baltazar helped the Woodland boys soccer team snap a 22-match losing streak with a 2-1 win over Hudson’s Bay.

Brennan Lamoreux scored a first-half goal from an assist by Kevin Terhorst for the Beavers in the 2A Greater St. Helens League match.

Paul Castro has seven saves in goal for Woodland.

• Mo Spieth, Union softball, went 3 for 4 with a double and three RBI in the Titans’ 12-8 win over Hockinson.

• Amber Griffith, Hockinson softball, went 4 for 4 with a double, home run and five RBI in the 12-8 loss to Union.

• Cody Hawken, Union baseball, homered for the second day in a row, helping Union to a 9-4 win over Evergreen.

• Jordan Shaw, Prairie softball, went 3 for 4 with two doubles in a 13-9 win over Skyview.

• Bennett Lehner, Camas boys soccer, scored three goals in a 4-0 win over Evergreen.

• Jarrett Brown, Ridgefield baseball, was 2 for 3 with a double and two RBI in a 4-2 win over Castle Rock.

• Amanda Moudy, La Center softball, was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double in a 6-5 win over Centralia.

• Brook Goodpastor, Hudson’s Bay baseball, went 2 for 2 with a double, run and two RBI in the Eagles’ 6-3 win over Fort Vancouver.

• Sam Razumovskiy, Washougal boys soccer, had a goal and an assists in the Panthers’ 2-1 league win over R.A. Long.

• Leonard Barry, Skyview baseball, went 3 for 5 with two runs and three RBI in the Storm’s 10-1 league over Mountain View, keeping Skyview in a tie for first place in the 4A GSHL.

• Curtis Stradley, Battle Ground baseball, went 3 for 3 with three runs and an RBI in the Tigers’ 12-2 league win over Heritage.

• Michael Guenther, Prairie baseball, went 2 for 3 with a double, two runs and an RBI in the Falcons’ 4-3 win over Camas.

• Faith Udy and Vanessa Franke, Woodland girls golf, won the Beaver Cup Jamboree, a tournament that combined select shot, best ball and alternate shot. Udy and Franke scored a 35 for nine holes to win by three shots.

• Kayley Johnson, Heritage softball, hit a grand slam in the Timberwolves’ 18-6 win over Ridgefield.
