Last week, we rounded up the league races that were ending for baseball and soccer.

This week, we look at the final week of league play in softball.

The weather this week calls for showers, and possible thunderstorms, Monday through Wednesday. But that back end of the week looks dry and warmer.

4A GREATER ST. HELENS LEAGUE: With two days of the league play to go, all of the district playoff berths have been secured. And it would appear that the league title could be decided Wednesday when Camas (8-2 in league) plays at Battle Ground (8-2). Union (7-3) is hoping one (or possibly both) Camas and Battle Ground stumble Monday, which would give the Titans a chance to share the league title with the Camas-Battle Ground winner. A three-way tie for first is also a possibility.

3A GSHL: There’s not a lot of drama in the final week of league play here. Regardless of what happens this week, Kelso is the league champ and will be the No. 1 seed to the bi-district tournament. Prairie will be the No. 2 seed. And, in all likelihood, Columbia River will be No. 3.

2A GSHL: Woodland (9-0), R.A. Long (7-2) and Hockinson (7-3) have secured district tournament berths. Woodland can lock up the league championship in a doubleheader Monday with Hudson’s Bay. That leaves the battle for the final district berth between Ridgefield (4-5) and Washougal (4-6). It is very possible those teams could finish the season tied for fourth place and will need to play a tiebreaker game.

1A TRICO: Five teams play softball in the Trico, and four will go district. Those four have been determined: La Center, Kalama, Castle Rock and Stevenson. La Center is No. 1, and Stevenson is No. 4. Kalama and Castle Rock (both tied at 6-3) play a three-game series this week, with the winner getting the No. 2 seed to district.

Other highlights of the week
