Central Vancouver — Innovative Services NW played host to Keller Williams Realty’s Renew, Energize and Donate Day of service on May 14.
More than 70 volunteers from Keller Williams spent the day at Innovative, with half working outside cleaning the facility, mowing the grass, weeding, laying in new bark dust, painting the curbs and planting flowers. The other half held a crafts fair inside for Innovative’s clients and families, where guests could get their faces painted, decorate bird houses, create cement stepping stones and plant and decorate flower pots.
There was also a book walk, snack shack and fishing pond. Innovative Services is a Vancouver-based nonprofit that works with more than 1,300 children and adults facing disabilities and disadvantages.
