Police officers on Thursday arrested a man they suspect robbed at a US Bank branch at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
The police said tips from the public helped investigators identify David Hercules Buchanan, 36, as the man who was caught in surveillance video robbing a US Bank branch office at the Fred Meyer on Columbia House Boulevard around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The police said a man entered the business and produced a firearm to rob the branch.
Buchanan was arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery and an outstanding warrant out of Clark County District Court, police said, and booked into the Clark County Jail.
