Police are investigating after a man and a woman reportedly mugged a man in downtown Vancouver early Sunday morning.

Police were called at about 12:45 a.m. to C and East Eighth streets to find a man who said he was robbed at gunpoint, Vancouver Police Department Spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.

The male suspect pointed a gun at the victim and told him to put his wallet and phone on the ground, Kapp said.

The victim complied, and the female accomplice picked up the wallet and phone from the ground before she and the man left, Kapp said.

Police searched the area, Kapp said, but neither suspect was found.
