A celebration of life is set for Oct. 24 for community leader Jean Lacey, who died in June.

YWCA Clark County will host the event from 2 to 4 p.m. in its community room, 3609 Main St.

Lacey was 101 when she died on June 22. She served as executive director of YWCA Clark County for 17 years, spearheading outreach and prevention programs for teens, incarcerated women and survivors of domestic violence.

The event is free and open to the public, but participants are asked to register at tinyurl.com/CelebrateJean. For information, call 503-309-3433.
