The 2016 college football season gets started in earnest this weekend. So it’s for The Columbian staffers to take their best shots at predicting how the season will turn out.
Editor Lou Brancaccio, Sports Editor Micah Rice, Assistant Sports Editor Tim Martinez and Sports Reporters Paul Valencia and Paul Danzer predict regular-season records for the Washington Huskies, Washington State Cougars, Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers, as well as picking a Pac-12 champion and national champion.
