Police arrested Tuesday afternoon two Woodland residents on suspicion of dealing methamphetamine following a search of a home, according to the Woodland Police Department.

Woodland Police and the regional Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Narcotic Task Force executed a search warrant in the 1200 block of Goerig Street in Woodland at around 1:30 p.m. Two residents, Albert C. Kloehn, 67, and Pamela S. Benberg, 50, were arrested.

Officers arrested Kloehn on suspicion of delivery of a controlled substance in a school zone and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, the Woodland Police said. Benberg was arrested on suspicion of delivery of a controlled substance in a school zone and possession of a controlled substance.

The Woodland Police also said officers seized 4 grams of methamphetamine, $665 in cash and packaging materials.

Officers with the Washington State Department of Corrections and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement assisted with the search, the Woodland Police said.

Woodland Police Chief Phil Crochet said there were no immigration, customs or corrections issues related to the investigation.

“Just wanted to throw them in there because we appreciate their help,” he said.
