Fircrest — The Cats Meow Luxury Boarding isn’t just a temporary home to leave cats while heading out of town. The pet sitting company recently teamed up with Furry Friends to open an adoption room. “By housing our own separate cat adoption section within The Cats Meow facility, we will promote the connection between cat lovers and cats in need,” said Amber Groff and Jo Schmidt, co-owners of Cat’s Meow, in a release from the Vancouver-based no-kill cat shelter. The first two residents of the cat adoption room are Jasmine and Little Bear, bonded littermates who must be adopted together. The Cats Meow is located at 330 N.E. Chkalov Drive, Suite B, Vancouver, and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The boarding facility can be reached at catsmeowboarding@gmail.com or 360-260-2287.
