Girls basketball: Union 41, Evergreen 31

Union’s full-court pressure held Evergreen to one point in the third quarter as the Titans survived in the 4A district tournament.

Union next will face Camas at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The Titans won despite shooting 32 percent from the field by using a 12-1 edge in the third quarter to open a 33-13 lead.

Mailia Aguigui hit a couple of 3-pointers in the third quarter to spark the Union offense. She finished with a team-high 13 points. Kili Anderson added eight rebounds.

Evergreen was led by 13 points from Ahna Burney.
