Letter: Safety check useful for dark winter

By Frances Miller, Vancouver
Published: January 7, 2016, 6:00am

I read both letters regarding driving with lights on in bad weather: the Dec. 25 letter “Shine bright during dark winter day” from Toni Jacobson and the Dec. 19 letter “Light your way for safety” from Barbara Gross. I would like to add that it would be nice if people would take time and make sure both headlights, back lights and brake lights are all working. I can’t believe how many cars and trucks I see daily with only one light working. It is very bad during daytime and more so at night.
