I’ve been voting for a while, and this is the first election that I’ve been excited to work for a candidate.
I found someone who represents my understanding of what America can be, who wants to help us care for each other, to strengthen Social Security, make Medicare available to all, and make the super rich pay their fair share of taxes. Someone who has a consistent vision, who fights for a living wage for all, and who recognizes the dangers of climate change.
To Bernie Sanders, these are exciting possibilities, not pie in the sky. He’s my president.
