VANCOUVER — The city of Vancouver’s Salary Review Commission will hold a combined meeting and public hearing at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday regarding setting the mayor and city council’s salaries for 2017-2018.

The meeting is at Vancouver City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St. Free parking is available for visitors in the building’s south visitor parking lot. If the lot is full, paid on-street parking is available. Visitors should check in with the information desk upon arrival.

Established by a city charter section approved by voters in 1994, the five-member Salary Review Commission meets every other year to coincide with the city’s budget cycle. The commission must file the salaries for the mayor and council by May 1 for inclusion in the 2017-2018 city budget. For more information, visit www.cityofvancouver.us/src.
