PeaceHealth names CFO, three new board members

PeaceHealth announced Wednesday that it has hired Kimberly Hodgkinson as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Hodgkinson comes to the Vancouver-based health care system from St. Vincent’s HealthCare in Jacksonville, Fla., where she serves as chief financial officer. Previously, Hodgkinson served as senior vice president and CFO for St. Mary’s Health in Evansville, Ind.

On Tuesday, PeaceHealth named Todd Alan Strumwasser, Karl Carrier and Kevin Murphy to its board of directors. It said in a release the three “share a deeply held commitment to the PeaceHealth mission, vision and values.”

Strumwasser is a senior vice president for San Francisco Bay Service Area of Dignity Health; Carrier was an interim senior vice president and chief executive of Providence Health & Services California; and Murphy is vice president of theology and ethics at St. Joseph Health in Irvine, Calif.

PeaceHealth currently operates in Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
