Deputies arrested a man early Saturday morning who investigators say shot two people at a home in Five Corners.

Clark County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Todd Barsness said deputies responded to a call reporting a domestic disturbance and gunshots around 1:30 a.m., at a home on the 9700 block of Northeast 115th Court.

“They were able to stabilize the situation,” Barsness said, and they came upon two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

The wounds were to their extremities and were not life-threatening, according to Barsness. He said the two were transported to a hospital. Their names were not released, and Barsness did not have information on their conditions.

Deputies arrested Ruben Prado Blancas, 43, at the scene. He was booked into the Clark County Jail later Saturday morning on suspicion of two counts of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree domestic violence burglary.

Barsness said further information about the incident and the relationship between the victims and Blancas was unavailable. The incident remained under investigation Saturday evening.

Deputies were a the scene, near Northeast 117th Avenue and Northeast 99th Street, well into Saturday afternoon.
