VANCOUVER – Veterans, active-duty personnel and military retirees are invited Friday to a special event that will provide free suits and other professional attire.

The “Suits for Soldiers” program is offered by Farmers Insurance from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the district office, 3925 N.E. 72nd Ave., Suite 104.

The office has collected donations for more than a month, said Ann Valentine, including clothing for men and women.

Farmers Insurance staffers also will offer advice on job interviews, and r?sum? templates that can be used for any professional field.

Other community businesses will donate services, including haircuts, office supplies and dry cleaning.

To reserve a spot, contact Valentine: 360-571-4666 or AValentine@District7906.com.
