Ninjas raise money for playground

Washougal — The Cape Horn-Skye Elementary School Boosters Club re-named the Sport-a-thon this year, and on Sept. 22, students competed in the first Kodak Ninja Warrior Challenge. The students competed in an obstacle course, which included climbing through a bunch of ropes, jumping over pool noodles and working together during team exercises. The event raised money for the club, and it will go toward a new playground structure. The club already exceeded its $3,000 goal.
