VANCOUVER — A California-based company that sells equipment for refrigeration and air conditioning filed preliminary applications with the city of Vancouver to build a 33,600-square-foot facility in the Image neighborhood.

Refrigeration Supplies Distributor, headquartered in Lake Forest, Calif., hopes to include a warehouse, loading docks, offices and a sales area. Up to 11 people could be employed at the new facility, planned for 3217 N.E. 112th Ave., according to the application. It would be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with up to 10 vehicles circulating during peak business hours.

The 2.6-acre site is currently unused. All Wall Contracting, Inc., based in Idaho, would develop the property.

The company has two locations in the Portland area: one on the southeast waterfront and another in Tualatin, Ore. The company has six Washington locations.

A public hearing about the proposal is scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 10 in the Alder Conference Room at Vancouver City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St. More information is available from Andrew Reule, the city’s case manager, at andrew.reule@cityofvancuver.us or 360-487-7891.
