SALEM, Ore. — Hikers found the body of a missing Marion County teenager in the Three Sisters Wilderness on Friday.

Lane County authorities said initial investigation indicates that Trevor Mitchell, 18, of Sublimity, Ore., probably died by suicide.

He was last seen Sunday in Stayton, and his car was found Tuesday at the Separation Lake Trailhead, near McKenzie Bridge. Crews had searched since then.
