Letter: Spicer is an embarrassment

I am appalled by White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s recurring abuse of the English language, so grimly documented in Dana Milbank’s April 15 opinion column, “Spicer’s butchery of English language unforgivable.”

This praiseworthy effort should earn Milbank a Pulitzer Prize, an Olympic gold medal and the Stanley Cup, in my humble opinion.

I bet President Trump’s press secretary is also a staunch opponent of bilingual teaching in public schools. What an outrageous hypocrite.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
