But still in the pursuit of perfection, the Chieftains on Thursday won the league title outright with a 5-1 win over Hockinson.
Jake Connop scored two goals and assisted on another, and Ryan Connop and Ethan Adams each scored a goal and had an assist in the victory.
Columbia River improved to 10-0 in league play with two to play. No one can catch the Chieftains.
Jake Connop had the two first-half goals.
Ryan Connop opened the second-half scoring to give the Chieftains some breathing room at 3-1.
