The Papermakers advanced to the bi-district tournament, but lost leading scorer Alex Glikbarg to injury.

Camas outscored their opponent from Federal Way 21-3 in the fourth quarter of the play-in game at Olympia High. The Papermakers (12-8) open the double-elimination tournament Thursday at Curtis (18-2) in University Place.

Camas will be without Glikbarg, who fell hard on his back after going up for a shot with two minutes to play. Papermakers coach Skyler Gillispie did not know how long the senior will be sidelined.

Levi Gilstrap led the Camas charge in the fourth quarter, in which hit three of his five 3-pointers. He finished with 15 points.

Bryan Nguyen also scored 15 points for Camas, which is the No. 3 seed from the 4A GSHL.

“I don’t think we would have won without those two,” Gillispie said.

Trailing 47-46 entering the fourth quarter, the Papermakers went into a zone defense. That shut down Todd Beamer, which finished its season 10-13 after placing fifth in the North Puget Sound League Olympic Division.
