VANCOUVER – Local company Nut-Tritious Foods said last week it landed an agreement with PCC Natural Markets, a small chain of grocery stores based in Seattle.

Owner Ken Condliff said five flavors of its nut and seed butters will be in 11 stores.

“This is the single largest order I’ve had since incorporating seven years ago,” Condliff said in a statement. “After four years of trying to get into PCC Natural Markets’ stores, I realized that no response doesn’t mean ‘no,’ (it means) ‘not now, keep in touch.’ ”

Nut-Tritious Foods products are sold in Oregon and Washington, including Whole Foods, Market of Choice, New Seasons and others, according to the company.
